TECHNICAL COOPERATION AND PARTERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Technical
Cooperation Activities and Development of Partnership focused
on the development of strategies alliances and partnerships
with postal enterprises worldwide. Technical cooperation can
never be overemphasized. Thanks to such cooperation the General
Secretariat succeeded in implementing a good part of its programme
of activities. It is important to mention cooperation with the
UPU, industrialized countries like Canada, the United States
of America, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Germany
without forgetting countries from the South such as China, Thailand,
South Korea and private companies.
To
date, the Union’s Secretary General has so far signed
11 cooperation agreements with the following entities: UPU –
PUASP, la Poste France, Telecommunication Consultants India
Ltd (TCIL), Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications
(RCC), Postal Solutions Limited (PSL), Brooks Todo, Transend
Worldwide, African Telecommunications Union (ATU), Posts and
Telecommunications Operators' Association for Portuguese speaking
Countries and Territories (AICEP), the African Development Bank
(ADB).
